In operation since September 2004, its designation is due to the memory of Rui Abreu (1961-1982), a National Champion swimmer, regional and national recorder and an Olympic swimmer in 1976 and 1980.
Characteristics:
Complex of pools prepared for pure, adapted and synchronized swimming and water polo, in the training and competition strands. Benches for 120 spectators and 82 athletes. Communal and bar area, parking lot, large surrounding green area, geriatric park, playground and basketball court.
– Main tank with 25x21m, with depth that converges from 1.80m to 2.00m, 8 tracks.
– Secondary tank with 21x12m, with depth ranging from the 0.70 to 1.10m, 5 lanes, access ramp for users with reduced mobility.
– Male, female and mixed changing rooms (for adults accompanying children).
Working hours:
Monday to Friday | 7:30 a.m. – 10:45p.m
Saturdays | 7:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays | Closed

Note: In all the municipal swimming pools, there is always a lane(s) destined for the Free Usage Regime.
