The Football field of Arregaça has a 10 856.50 m2 area and is located near the Arregaça Valley between Fonte do Bispo Street (north), Sanches da Gama street (west) and at transversal Quinta das Fonsecas street (east). Currently, it serves as football field and bleachers (7029 m2) and as facilities for sports practice (573,50 m2). It was officially established on November 22, 2013, making it possible to hold Official Competitions on its synthetic turf.
This field includes eight LED (“light emitting diode”) projectors with 831W each, a unit flow of 78,000 lumens, that allows an average illumination level of 41Lux. It is an investment of about 20 thousand euros, carried out by the Municipal Council of Coimbra (CMC), which enables not only to provide a better lighting to this infrastructure, but also save on electricity consumption.
This field is frequently used by União 1919 Club and women’s football club Lordemão F.C.
