On the beach there are picnic tables and barbecues, as well as a bar with terrace, locker rooms, first aid station, children’s playground, beach volleyball court, and canoe rental. During the bathing season, it occasionally hosts music concerts and has a lifeguard on duty. It is also awarded with the Blue Flag beach. It is also possible to access the Trilho Ribeirinho [Ribeirinho Trail] in this beach, a pedestrian trail that stretches along the river for a total of 7 km.
River Beach:
This river beach served by the Mondego River was established in 1997, when it was equipped with essential infrastructures. It is widely used for sporting modalities such as kayaking, canoeing, sport fishing and beach volleyball.
