Inaugurated in December 2001, it is a place of leisure, conviviality and sports practice, in the urban area of Vale das Flores, with gardens and resting areas. It has a pedestrian pathway, about 1 km in length, a playground and a multi-sports arena with artificial grass.
Very close to the park is the building of Teatrão – Oficina Municipal do Teatro.
